Aligning Virtual Space to Physical Space
An experiment in devising methods to quickly aligning virtual spaces to physical spaces.
An in-house experiment in aligning virtual spaces to physical real-world spaces.
The idea of this project was to explore possibilites of how one can leverage virtual 3D environments and align them with real-world physical spaces. An important aspect of the experiment was not only devising an alignment method, but it also had to be quick and efficient for it to usable.
This was an in-house project that focused on exploring and experimenting with new technologies and how these can be used further towards future customers.

Statistikkbanken (Statistics Bank)

Making complex data intuitive
Statistikkbanken is a web application that allows users to view and retrieve large statistical data sets in various forms. It is built upon a statistical database system called PxWeb, built and maintained by both SSB and Swedish Statistics (SCB).
The initial objective was to design a mobile version of the web application with accessibility in mind, this was further expanded to include redesigning the desktop version as well. As this was a collaboration with both SSB and SCB, it was agreed upon that the design would also be implemented in the overall system, PxWeb, used by many governmental statistics agencies in both Europe and Africa.
The work resulted in implementation-ready sketches and will be implemented as the standard design in PxWeb and also in SSB’s “Statistikkbanken”.
